Re: West Nile Fever

I'm pretty sure that's not what I was trying to say. I never said anything about untreatability or waiting until the symptoms were life threatening. All I'm saying is that from what I've heard there isn't much to distinguish West Nile from other fevers. The symptoms and complications (including rash...

Re: West Nile Fever

Just treat the totality of characteristic symptoms. From what I've heard most cases are asymptomatic and do not need treating. Those that develop complications can have meningitis or enchephalitis. You probably wouldn't even know it was West Nile unless you ran tests. -------------------------------...

Re: mancinella

I have not prescribed Mancinella myself, but one of my colleugues has a case that is going very well. I'm not sure about the details of the case, but she described to me a most interesting trait. This woman has a tremendous fear that her children will be haunted. She does not even have children yet!...

Airport security

I'm Canadian, not American, so I can't comment on the security in the States, but it's pretty tight here too (found that out when we took a wrong turn and they made us go through the security all over again when we had just gone through it!). I've flown a few times since 9/11. More than ever before ...

Re: PLEASE HELP

I haven't followed the rest of this, but I do remember reading about Lachesis (I think in Kent's lectures on MM) and how they often interrupt and finish other peoples sentences even though they have no idea what they're talking about. Maybe worth looking into. If Lachesis doesn't fit, double check t...

Gallstones question

I have a patient (who I'm seeing again on Saturday) who's cheif complaint is gallstones and the associated pain. She used the apple juice and olive oil method a couple of times prior to seeing me and it worked to some extent, but the last time she tried it it was very painful and didn't work well, a...

Re Sequential therapy and heilkunst

Regarding the string about ST and Heilkunst. I was a patient of a practitioner who practices like this (though never prescribed higher than 10M) and in my second year of studies our principal professor taught us this type of prescribing. Unfortunately where I live, this is the predominant form of ho...

Re: Niccolum Sulphuricum

I have a case of Niccolum Sulphuricum that is going quiet well. I don't have the file with me but I'll see what I can recall off the top of my head. 10 year old girl with chronic sinus and nasal complaints. Thick clingy mucous. (there's more to it but I can't remember now). Not much characteristic i...
