PLEASE HELP

Post by J van der Linden »

hello paul, sorry about the delay but my provider quit on me. But now I am Back on line. AS to your question: no there is no element of questioning & there also is no problem of hearing. However you might be right in suggesting that there may be an assimilation problem or so.Note however that the patient is not waiting for me to finish my sentence; the repetition starts pretty much after I said about 3 words. It is as if she is trying to confirm that what I am trying to say while I am still saying it. The result is often that she has filled in what I was going to say except that I was not going to say it. When I realize this I try to correct it and she will do it again. So it takes a few trials before one can get said what one has meant to be said. So how about this. I am at a loss, and it is really an important symptom, I think

Hello

here is something :
Zincum (from Choudri etc)

From what has been said above, it may be guessed that the Zincum patient is
extremely forgetful. He forgets even those things that have been done in the
course of the day. The cerebral exhaustion referred to above, makes mental
operations extremely difficult. He finds it difficult to grasp ideas and
coordinate thoughts. Evening is usually the time of aggravation. It is
useful even in delirium tremens - the patient exhibiting great fear of
persecution for crimes, which he has never done. He stares as if frightened.
We find him, like Bell., attempting to get out of bed and run away. Constant
trembling of hands, Fidgetiness of feet and coldness of the extremities are
guiding symptoms of this remedy. One very important symptom, a symptom that
has been verified often, is a tendency to repeat questions before answering
them.

In this case its a question of lack of confidence, wanting to make sure they
understand you correctly so they can give the right answer.

Then there is Lachesis which is trying to finish your sentences because they
are hasty in speech and in general.

And if the patient displays any tendency to exam nerves, then considering
the consultation a kind of examination, perhaps use:

Mind; ANTICIPATION; general; examination, before (SRI-53) (12) : aeth.,
anac., arg-n., carb-v., carc., cupr., gels., hydrog., nux-v., pic-ac., sil.,
thuj.

Regards,
Paul

I haven't followed the rest of this, but I do remember reading about
Lachesis (I think in Kent's lectures on MM) and how they often interrupt
and finish other peoples sentences even though they have no idea what
they're talking about. Maybe worth looking into. If Lachesis doesn't
fit, double check the other snake remedies.
