mending broken bones and driving (UK)

Hi all 2 ½ weeks ago I broke my left calcaneous (heel bone) in several places and put a slight crack in the right maleolus (ankle bone). Please don't ask how, suffice to say, whatever I may think I am not a teenager anymore, and I am not superman either. Everything is going well, I have taken, Arnic...

Re: Laminitis or founder in horses

I find Urtica 30 is often a good acute remedy in humans where the patient does not have the characteristic > cold of ledum and nothing else seems particularly indicated. Thanks, Jeremy. Interestingly enough, I have a patient coming in today for gout, and I'll be sure to keep Urtica in mind. (Wonder ...

Re: Laminitis or founder in horses

Interesting choice, Jeremy. What led you to Urtica? I was thinking of gout remedies, too, but there were no real sxs on which to prescribe a smaller remedy. Peace, Dale 3 reasons really 1 The owner told me that eating too many nettles could cause it, therefore homeopathic 2 Similarity of symptoms to...

Re: Laminitis or founder in horses

I was at a friends who had a pony with Lamenitis, Painful feet from a too rich diet seemed like gout to me. I didnt have any suitable remedies with me so I knocked up some Urtica 6X from some stinging nettle crushed in some cheap brandy and succused in a bottle, gave a few teaspoon sized doses (can'...

Re Homeopathy

'by the administration of potentised doses of a remedy that has been shown to be capable of producing a similar set of symptoms in the healthy volunteers as those being experienced by patient'. Filling or Cutting tablets (was Fits and seizures)

Sounds neat, but I would be careful about which tablets you recommend this for. There has been some publicity recently about cutting tablets to reduce the dosage. Apparently cutting open tablets with an enteric coating can have fatal results due to the drugs being released too quickly Reduction meth...

Re: New Here! looking to use homeopathy for Autistic Son

Hi Helly Yes homeopathy can help, but be prepared to be patient. Most of my Autistic patients seem to give up if they see no improvement after the first visit. I suppose you cannot blame them when there are stupid doctors out there saying that homeopathy does not work, and they are parting with hard...
