they are 6x homeopathy remedies
But what makes something homeopathic is if it fits the symptom picture, not that it is diluted and succussed

My guess is that is s difference in labeling rather than in the product, but if curious enough I'm sure you could find website of the maker and email them to make sure it's the same.

But I would not hesitate to assume they are plain old cell salts.

I'm not sure they are needed or necessary to take in this way.............I, as a homeopath, have never used them in this way - "Cell Salts are a group of homeopathic remedies made from minerals.
2 words: Cell - meaning used on the cellular level and Salts - meaning
mineral or minerals salts. Made as a homeopathic remedy generally 6X potency.

He says..........
There are 12 basic mineral or tissue cell salts in our bodies "

I've also had really nice responses to Bioplasma -- but (I think interestingly) I also find that when what I need is a sub-group of the salts, possibly a single one, then Bioplasma doesn't stand in; you can't just use that in place of the others. (Too bad…)

But for a period when one needs them all (or most?) -- or just when one needs Bioplasma? More information needed!), it's wonderful.

I find similarly with the Phosphates formula (calc phos + ferrum phos + kali phos + natrum phos + mag phos, I think that's all of them?). I can replicate its effects (when that's what I need) by taking e.g. one of each tablet into cup of water, stir and sip; but if what I need is just *one* of them (for me lately kali phos and/or mag phos), taking a dose of Phosphates doesn't seem to really do it.

Interesting, another datum that gives pause to the idea that "the body will take what it needs (from a combo remedy) and ignore the rest -- and yet *sometimes* that is in fact exactly what happens. More data needed…)

One of the things I have found charming and useful about the cell salts, is that when my choice *does* work, it does not leave me wondering for long. E.g. if I am looking for sleep, once I make the right choice, I get sleep within I think 15-30 minutes. With a project such as an infection, the time frame might be hours or a day, but still very easy to identify.

When I have (or can identify) the needed "regular" remedy, I much prefer that -- a deeper and more durable effect, with nicer "side-benefits" -- but I have gotten very fond of cell salts! (And it's perhaps worth noting that on this list some years back David Little also gave them high marks for usefulness.)

Yet even when used "as a cell salt" (which basically just means that one is using a very simplified type of materia medica", the indications are pretty much the same. By which I mean, the area of overlap between the "cell salts materia medica" description vs. that in our "regular homeopathy" materia medicas is *very* extensive; most (if not all?) of the symptoms via cell salts indications, are also in the homeopathic materia medica for the same remedy.

If anyone feels this is incorrect, do let me know, but as far as I know, that's the case.

If cell salts are not homeopathy then there shouldn't be any problem taking
them with good butter/oils to bring them directly to the cells.

Well, I would say it's "a type of homeopathy" (a phrase which I know is anathema to some here), or maybe "on a fringe of homeopathy". I don't think it's quite correct to say it's "not homeopathy" -- but in any case it is more of an energy medicine than chemical; the amounts of *substance* in each pill are still very, very small from a nutritional standpoint. And yet they are effective…

It could be interesting to (a) get familiar with a particular cell salts and its *effects in the present* in the experimenter, and then (b) switch to the pills prepared in ghee or etc., and compare. I'd be surprised to find it more effective, and not surprised if it were less effective, but in any case I wouldn't do that as a starting point. They aren't herbs, and both the active principles and the spheres of action are very different vs. herbs.

Just my thought, I don't know...

I'm not sure why it is so hard to know what homeopathy is - something that follows the laws and principles of homeopathy - not just that it is diluted and succussed (that does not make it homeopathy)
Law of Similars (no for cell salts); Proving (no for cell salts); Minimum dose (no for cell salts)

Again, Sheri -- so far as I am aware, the indications for use of cell salts are also within the standard homeopathic materia medica. The indications include such things as mucus of various colors and etc.; and other very observable and describable indications.

In other words they *are* being used according to "law of similars", it's just that the "similars" being compared are broader and more general (I don't have my books handy, but feel free to look some up, and we can discuss specifics if you like) than standard homeopathic ones.

Presumably the reasons why this *works* with cell salts (which it does, though in a cell-salts-sort-of-pacing-and-etc.) could be an interesting topic of discussion, but I'm going to suggest it is likely due to the natures of the substances (nutritive, and fundamental).

But they *are* used on a basis of Law of Similars. Check it out for yourself, please.
Ergo, it is "a type of homeopathy."
