Could you give me a good definition of palliation?
Is proper diet palliation?
Can only homeopathy heal? Or are there other healing modalities that can heal? This is not a trick question since a good homeopathy healing is mysterious and amazing, a miracle really. I have two children thanks to homeopathy.

I see proper diet as removal of a maintaining cause….
Palliation only works for a time, as it fails, in some degree, to address the root cause of symptoms.

There are many situations cured homeopathically, unbeknownst to us.
Similarity is what make a treatment homeopathic. Not dilution, not succussion.
Now open your PDR or other local official pharmacopoeia and have a look:
- go to any antidepressant and look at the side effects; you will see "depression"
- go to any anxiolytic, side effect, "anxiety"
- and so on...
My first exposure to that was many years ago when someone came for a repeat of anti-depressant for his wife. He claimed she was cured thanks to it and did not want to take the risk of stopping....cured? I asked...Yes, as soon as she took the first tablet her mental state became completely normal.
This is impossible according to pharmacology, as you need at least two weeks to reach an appropriate level in the brain in order for the drug to work......Prozac was homeopathic to this patient.
We see this with Ritalin even though there are frequent relapses when it is stopped, but in some cases, where it was really homeopathic, no relapses occur.
The vitamin D frenzy started that way: reports started emerging that patients with melanoma and other skin cancers "sun-induced" where doing better when they were exposed to sun....homeopathicity, it does not matter what the intermediary is.
Support groups are homeopathic psychology groups.
Provings do refine the homeopathicity and allows us to be precise in our treatments. Open a herbal medicine materia medica and compare their MM with a homeopathic one for the same plant, you will understand what I mean.
I often prescribe my herbal remedies (tinctures) based on a homeopathic repertorisation. And not rarely do I decide on a homeopathic remedy based on its traditional herbal, Chinese or Ayurvedic description.
Cell salts are all proved homeopathic remedies; if you use them and confirm their indication by looking at both the clinical cell salt indication and the homeopathic MM, you will certainly have a better, deeper and more precise action.

There is also allopathic. Healing (cure), palliation, Allopathy, - these are all distinct categories, with clear definition.

Allopathy doesn't palliate. Allopathy mimics crude effects of the vital force. Blood letting, purgative's, emetic's etc. Palliation is the treatment opposing the vital force. Allopaths in hahnemann's time used allopathic methods in the belief they were driving out some inner humor or illness, by copying the processes of illness, ie diarrhoea, vomiting, sweating etc. When the patient deteriorated and needed relief, they would palliate by giving treatment that opposed the symptoms. 2 distinctly different treatment modalities.
Then you had homeopathy.

My wife had endometrioisis, and that con med creep wanted to remove all of her reproductive organs, but I sent her to the con med creep only for the diagnosis. I took her to someone practising TCM and homeopathy and she drank her home brewed TCM herbs, endured the acupuncture religiously, and took her homeopathy and she was healed. Later she told me that the Indian lady con med creep was abusive during the follow-up diagnosis when she heard about the "Chinese teas".
