HI Shanon,
I recall under italics in Materia Medica of Boericke under Nux Vomica .. but it reads as "cannot sleep after 3a.m. until towards morning feeling wretchedly".
I find NUMBER OF REMEDIES pointed by Dr.Vallem Pola Raju in his book "TIME MODALITIES" under "AWAKING AT 3a.m." .. now it depends which one are you studying and what are the accompanying symptoms.
Another [place I would like you to refer is a Small Book of collection of writings by C.M. BOGER titled as "TIMES OF THE REMEDIES and MOON PHASES" published by Jain Publishing Co. Delhi, India. . You sure will find the remedy you are studying and it may help you to solve the confusion about the remedy you are studying. Of course these will help you only to get back to start with and get back to comparative Materia Medica.
However, I will get back if I happen to come across the italic "I keep waking at 3:00
a.m).
What is the medicine you are *strongly* leaning toward and you find it is not under 3:00 . Very often it happens that we find it is not there but it may be coming on somewhere where time is slightly this or that side.
Regards
Manjit

Thanks .. I do not think I can express it in a better mode. I think this explanation and information solved the confusion.
