It looks you are supporting suppliment enterprises and your tust in them is much more than food enterprises. This is strange. How can you say all the suppliment manufacturers are honest and food department is not? Can we draw a line between them?
Better to talk about classical homeopathy not food. Hahnemann never talked of food supplements/grades, he just advised of balnced food excersize clealiness, the traits of pure life.

So the homeopaths should accept un-homeopathic ways in prevailing conditions? Okay if there's no way

Re: Flu preventative
Although it is off topic, not washing does not make much sense to me regarding vitamin D.
The first phase is synthesized in the dermis and no in the sweat glands or the sebaceous glands; from there it goes to the lungs for next transformation, and finally to the kidney.
At no point is in on the surface of the skin, therefore cannot be washed away.
Only if some toxic substances penetrate the skin during washing could it perturb the process.

Re: Flu preventative
I don't trust in supplements more than food, but a) people are not getting healthy food in large part,
and b) the stress in people's lives creates such a body burden that food cannot provide sufficient
nutrients to counter all the stresses that use up nutritional stores. Maybe this is not true in Shangra-la
but in my world it is vastly true.
Hahnemann's world did not have to contend with pesticides and depleted soil and toxic air and
food processed with poisons. He didn't live in a world where raw food was considered illegal.
He didn't live with homes with indoor air more toxic than the outdoors and people spending most
of their time indoors working in airless wonders with only mechanically provided air. The list of
stress goes on and, yes, I do not think food can provide sufficient nutrients in these environments.
Homeopathy may help heal, but to what end when people are still living with deficiencies.

Re: Flu preventative
Apparantly some Vitamin D is made on the skin and found in the surface skin oils.

Re: Flu preventative
Information I have read says the pre-vit d is formed on the skin and gets absorbed into the body.
The idea is that if you hang out in the sun and then come and jump into a shower and lather with
soap you wash this substance off before your body has time to absorb it. It does not get absorb
instantly as it is made. Thus, rinsing off with plain water helps ensure that there is enough on the
skin to absorb. I recall reading in an article on Mercola.com that it can take as much as 24 hours
for this absorption to occur.

Re: Flu preventative
The big issue is that the oils on the skin formed from sun exposure are the oils that need to
be absorbed for the body to form the Vit D. From my point of view, it matters none as to
whether it is Vit D on the skin or the pre-vit oils. Without the oils entering the body, there will be
no formation of the vitamin. The rest seems to be just academic detail.
