Hi,
this depends on the type of fracture. There are fractures which have to be inmobilized in a plaster cast. The loss of movement depends on the time in the cast, up to 3 weeks is no problem but I have seen patients with 5 weeks of cast regain there whole range of movement.

The fracture looked very small to me on the X-ray and is on an elbow bone!!
No aching today so presuming the remedies are kicking in. My aim is to astonish the allopaths with the rapid healing!!

What is "pronosupination" ? It hurts a bit at the wrist (!!) if I twist my arm around from side to side . The humerus is not involved although just feeling around it does feel bruised . I think the fracture is on the top of the ulna.

Thanks - I can do this but it hurts a bit!!! That's what I meant by twisted the wrist around. Today I have more movement as I can now reach my face!! Am still resting it in the sling when I am not typing!!!
