http://drluc.com/cons-apmt.htm and also speaking with a couple of his
former patients. And he only charges $700, not $750.
Do you know that he does spend hours researching after the "upto 90 minute" initial prior to prescribing?

Re: Dr. Ramakri$$$hnan - Diabetes Healer or Banker?
I chose to see Dr. Ramakrishnan primarily after reading his info on the NCH website. He was a featured speaker at their 2nd Annual Joint American Conference 2007 in Denver. While NCH website no longer carries the promo info featuring Dr. Rama, the conference tapes are available. With the following glowing promo, used or written by NCH, why WOULDN'T anyone with diabetes NOT want to see him?
http://www.conferencerecording.com/aaaD ... =NCH27-317
"Dr. Ramakrishnan will also discuss his experience in treating and curing people who suffer from Type II diabetes."
Not a guarantee, but are there many homeopaths focusing on diabetes and claiming 100's of cures???
Why would someone expend time seeing a homeopath who may have treated a few diabetes patients vs. someone who treats many?
While I'm disappointed that Dr. Rama seems to follow a set protocol, is not likely to engage in much patient interaction, wants to charge $350 or $250 every two months and spent more time repeatedly asking me if I deposited $$ into his checking account vs. feedback on my aggravations, I'm still torn whether to keep this going. Maybe diabetes needs a fixed protocol?

In my research I see you've published a tape, Using Dr. Ramakrishnan's Methods to Treat Seriously Ill Patients
http://www.homeopathic.com/store/product=1806
Since there is no description about it, how has Dr. Rama helped you treat patients and what conditions have you treated succesfully using his methods? Why did you feel the need to publish a tape about it?

I'm disgruntled because I'm trying to ascertain if this investment of
time, money and rollercoaster aggravations/ameliorations for the next
two years will bring some relief, if not cure.
Since you have invested much time with Dr. Ramakrishnan and attended
2 years of his seminars, you must feel he provides expertise,
knowledge, ideas that no one else may be able to. Have you
implemented his protocols? Have you successfully treated diabetes,
cancer or serious chronically ill patients?

Re: Dr. Ramakri$$$hnan - Diabetes Healer or Banker?
this conversation is beginning to make me feel uncomfortable. it feels like
people are being pushed to make a decision for what someone else should
do. i think people have put out their opinions on a number of levels and you
need to take from them what you can use and leave the rest.
we all make decisions for a number of reasons. there is no rigid formula to
follow, just some guidelines. it always boils down to your personal sense of
comfort and confidence in the practitioner. there are great practitioners who
flub on some cases despite their numerous successess. and there are cases
that are very difficult and don't respond easitly. and then again there are
times that the interpersonal relationship just doesn't work for someone and
the case suffers. afterall, healing is an interplay between 2 people and how
they communicate and how they hear the information. you may, for example,
be the kind of person who needs more contact and support. in that case a
long distance relationship may be the wrong one for you.
i also think that just because a practitioner does not deal with a lot of a particular
dis-ease, it doesnt mean they wont be proficient in taking the case successfully.
in sum, it seems to me that you need to take everyone's input, sort it through, and
make a decision for yourself as to what your direction should be.
much luck to you

Hi,
I'm curious about your remedy that only aggravated in dry doses, but
worked well in wet. I'm curious whether you'd also aggravated with
*low* potency dry doses, or had you used only high? (And whether the
wet doses were high potency or low?) Just sorting out some thoughts...
Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Ellen,
How odd that she didn't want to "manage" your case! Was that because
you're a homeopath--I hope? Even so, tho, I find it weird!!

The sad thing is that this discussion--which I agree, Erica, is an
excellent one to have--will be eagerly pounced upon by the funny-named
and ill-intentioned trolls who lurk among us. I do find it frustrating
that we can't talk openly here, but doing so is basically like pasting
a "kick me" sign on one's back. More appropriate to a closed or
private list, I'm afraid!
We *think* this is a list of friends and colleagues, but it's been
proved that that's in part an illusion.
Best wishes,
Shannon

I am so sorry for the difficulties you have suffered. I know there
are others that have worked with Dr. Ramakrishnan that have been very
satisfied with the experience and results. Since you describe
yourself as disgruntled, you seem to have already determined that
this is not the best path for you. Follow your instincts - you know
yourself better than anyone else. I encourage you not to give up on
homeopathy - please find another homeopath and continue your quest
for health and healing. Many on this list have already provided
their opinions - perhaps they can help you find the right
practitioner.
Yes - I have attended two years of seminars with Dr. Ramakrishnan.
He does indeed offer knowledge, experience and expertise. I have
volumes of notes from each class. I have attended seminars and
clinicals with many other teachers as well (4 over long term and 25+
in short seminars). There is much to learn and I am an avid
student. I have never instituted 'protocols' of any form from any
teacher - but try to incorporate appropriate notes into the analysis
done for each individual. Yes - I have successfully worked with
individuals with cancers, diabetes, and seriously chronic illnesses.
I sincerely hope you find a wonderful homeopath and the quality care
you deserve.
