Hi Rochelle,

All these nut allergies are actually caused by MOLD that is inherent to nuts and seeds, mainly Aflatoxins etc. A lot of mold allergies show up as other symptoms, such as Celiac and wheat sensitivities etc.

Once the mold toxins are corrected (long process) and the mold is inhibited on the nuts, a lot of these ‘allergic’ people stop being allergic. The best way to deal with mold toxins on nuts and seeds is according to Dr. Hulda Clark’s protocols, with Vitamin C powder. You mix the vitamin C powder with cold water, and rinse the nuts and seeds with that solution. You can then dry them. I also suggest sprinkling some Vit C powder straight onto the nuts in the container AFTER the rinse.

Hi Gail,
Thanks for this. Future mum was asking me what she could healthily eat when she is hungry between meals and that is how we got onto this conversation as I answered nuts!! I have suggested fruit now!! She wanted to know if she could have an UltraLife Shake as it is full of nutritious things and no junk. I suggested not because the main ingredient is soya protein and that these contain iso flavones which are plant hormones which may affect her hormones.

What do you think about the suggestion that if mums avoid their offspring eating nuts until they are age 5 or so - it will be a new food and at this stage they may be allergic to it because they have not been brought up with it during childhood?

What I think it is interesting is the mold (namely Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus aflavus) that is the cause of peanut allergies, comes from the soil. The question arise "how come we don't see this type of allergic reaction from other crops?" What makes peanut have this affinity for Aspergillus while after crop don't? Interestingly peanuts come in pods like peas but there is no pea allergies that I have heard of...

Is there a proving of raw peanuts?

Thank you, Rosemary! Yes, legumes are quite heavy in toxic plant lectins, and are generally not well tolerated raw. This, to me, is a big red flag - if you cannot eat something raw, it's a good idea not to at all. Tree nuts are fruits, but also, like apple seeds, can be so high in certain substances that eating concentrated amounts might not be wise. Look to our distant past to see that fruit and its seeds are only plentiful in nature at a specific time of year, and that animals are not in the habit of separating and concentrating their constituents. Nature's proportions are, by definition, ideal for nutrition of the species that evolve to eat the natural environment.

I understand the problem arises in poor storage - mainly too much moisture present.
Indeed - because peanut oil is in vaccines, I think it causes intolerance and allergic reaction.
The whole idea of vaccines is that the body is sensitive to the stuff in the vaccines - So as soon as they mean the same things again they destroy them - that is to say micro organisms. But if you put other stuff in there, well in some people they will be reactive to other stuff too.

Sorry, that does not make sense.
You can become allergic to any food, to any substance, so in the end you might as well not eat anything.........not a real life situation.
If there is any hint of the remote possibility of the mother being able to develop and transmit an allergy, then this is what should be treated (constitution, miasm, whatever you do for allergic patients).
Even better would be the possibility to treat both parents before conception. The few couples I had the opportunity to treat that way had uneventful pregnancies, nice deliveries and healthy babies not statistically significant).
Being pregnant and eating should not make you sick. If you are sick, the fault lies within your "dis-ease", not with the foodstuff (as long as it is not poisonous, tainted, or anything else)

No the cause of peanut allergies is Peanut protein.
Apergillus is a separate issue - it's a a fungus which MIGHT be
present on some old nuts. Since that too contains protein one could
in theory have an allergy to aspergillus - but it is more often the
case that a bad response to Aspergillus is due to aspergillus *toxin*.
All allergic reactions are to proteins in the allergen. One can in
theory become allergic to any protein if one has the allergic type
of situaiton (called atopy) . If the protein gets into the blood
stream somehow (eg through a compromised gut after ingestion or
through lung tissue compromise after inhalation) then IF the person
is atopic, the immune system is Thy-2 skewed and WILL thus over-
respond with excess antibody - triggering an allergy NEXT time (and
thereafter) the item is eaten or breathed.

So nobody develops an allergy more readily to one thing over another
- it's all about what they are exposed to that gets into the blood
PLUS/DURIING the Th-2 imbalance prerequisite of the immune system.

Homeopathic treatment can undo the Th-2 skewing, and thus the
tendency to develop allergic responses.
It would take longer to get rid of existing allergies to which the
body has an antibody response ready to go.
There are pea allergies - it's just that less people eat peas to such
excess when ill that they are likely to get through a compromised gut
wall to cause allergy - and also peas have a low protein content
compared to peanuts. SO there are more allergies to peanuts due to
common use of them and due to higher protein content.
That's all.

To get the prerequisite TH-2 skewed immune system (without which
there is no allergy formed) requires only one or more vaccinations
or the eating of soy. (or the use of steroids)
Many babies get both - vaccines and soy formula.
The survey on atopy that I did in 1972 (yes I know the dark ages -
Creighton University Immunopharmacology Dept is where I worked)
showed that 40% of Americans had atopy, and were thus predisposed to
developing allergies. I did a survey also of those vaccinated for
whooping cough and those not - and 100% atopy was found for those who
got whooping cough vaccine (myself for example)- even if there was no
family history of any allergy in the family. (myself for example).

I would imagine the current percentage of atopy is closer to
100% . If only from whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine.

At the time nobody thought the findings were worthy of publishing!
( Much University research money came form drug companies). I wonder
how many other drug-company-unpopular findings go unpublished.

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Irene,
That's impressive! Is that a study that could be used as reference for
the damaging effects of vaccines? (Or at least an immune-damaging
effect of the Pertussis vaccine?) If so, what reference and how to get
a copy?
Here's another small example... From "Alternatives" (D. Williams) Feb.
2008.
"... Researchers at a Pennsylvania State University Colleg of Medicine
conducted a study involving 105 children aged 2 to 18 years with upper
respiratory infections and cough. The kid were given a teaspoon of
buckwheat honey, no treatment, or honey-flavored dextromethorphan (DM,
the most common over-the-counter cough syrup) 30 minutes before
bedtime.

"Significant differences in coughing and sleep quality were noted using
honey. Honey was found to be the only therapy that reduced cough
frequency and severity and improved sleep. Honey-flavored DM had no
effect whatsoever. (Arch Pediatr Adolesc Med 07; 16:1140-1146)

"I doubt you'll see the results of this study being touted on any cough
syrup labels or reported in the news. If these dismal results had come
from some study of nutritional supplements, it would have made the
evening news."

(He goes on: "And while I'm on the topic of honey, it's worth noting
that studies continue to show it is one of the most effective agents to
promote true healing of wounds, burns, surgical cuts, and lesions.
Researchers in the UK found no reports in any of the literature where
an infection resulted from the use of hoeny in treating open wounds.
They went so far as to highly recommend the use of honey in surgical
wards and stated that patients about to undergo surgery should ask
their surgeons if they could apply honey to their wounds
postoperation. (Int J Clin Pract 07;61:1705-1707) (I've noticed that
honey also speeds healing and reduces scarring by drawing out fluid,
and drawing together the lips of the wound--on a small-but-deep cut,
better than a butterfly bandage! :-) )

Speaking strictly from my own experience, when I was pregnant eons ago, my body demanded protein snacks. One of the best, for me at least, was hummus, the Middle Eastern dish of chickpeas, tahini, and lemon juice. Might this be an option for your client?
Peace,
Dale
