I'm intrigued by your observations!
Can you give a summary of the types and associated remedies that you've
observed so far? (If that's not too much for the moment?)
And the relationship between this an M/E characteristics is easily
drawn...
Can you give examples?

This relates to a debate that raged on one of the lists a good few
years ago, with one person insisting he was seeing good results from
prescribing "constitutionally" on basis of non-pathological features
(e.g. "friendly", and I wish I knew/recalled what else...)--that
remedies chosen in this way were helping his pts throw off their
various specific problems--and others insisting that "one mustn't", and
he must be imagining those good results.
gist of it, IMO. At the time I didn't remark it too much, because it
seemed similar enough to my understanding that, if the remedy suits the
*person* well, it is (in "functional" cases, I would gather?) not so
important whether it covers the *disease* state well. I've come to
realize this is a somewhat controversial position
seen it work out well! And to me it does make sense.
Two possible ways of treating a (still functional) disease--by treating
the disease-specific symptoms ("pathology only" rubrics), or by
treating to strengthen the underlying (what I would call) constitution.
I don't think what I'm describing is necessarily *quite* what you've
been talking about, but perhaps has some similarity in general. And
with your extremely ill patients, you've found it useful to treat with
both concurrently. Interesting!
Yes... I just meant what would more commonly be prescribed on.
Would you be willing to either post or send me?
Thanks again for this very intriguing set of observations and
experiences!!
