For the little extended cooking that I do, I use stainless steel
stock pots, and iron pans and woks.

Funny or not it was halfway serious; what I was trying to say was
that the Alzheimer's could have started long before it was diagnosed
and may or may not be because of the vegetables being cooked in
suspect pans...

Is it usual for her to go on such diets - or was it a new idea? What
explanation did she give for it?

I am not saying that the metal of the pan could not have caused it -
I am just wondering if the aetiology might not be found even earlier
in her history....

Me too, but I'm curious about the other.
