At the risk of repeating myself I still think it is important to say
that the 'passion', 'sympathy' etc has to be in line with other and
possibly easily recognisable sx of Nux vomica. Many, many people are
sympathetic but they don't all need Nux. If you think about where Nux
vomica is coming from rather than a series of seemingly unrelated sx
(in as much as they might appear to be contradictory or unusual to the
rx, to some people), then you will understand that their passion,
sympathy, etc comes from the need to be stimulated and being quick to
perceive - they are ardent to the nth degree. Equally Nux vomica can be
full of fear, totally confused and always making mistakes,, extremely
sensitive, weepy and sad, affectionate, cheerful, desire for
tranquility, feelings of guilt, extremely fastidious and careful, full
of doubt, indifferent, introspective, mischievous, bashful, and on -
but this is part of a diseased state not a healthy one, i.e. what
appears to be healthy sx are in fact sx that are dependent on the more
obvious unhealthy sx, so this makes them equally unhealthy.
It is a strychnine rx and if you study the fears and delusions this
will give you the full extent of their diseased state. Best wishes, Joy
