Remedy Proving

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

In the Organon (aph 108 on) Hn gives exact instructions on how a proving
should be conducted.

An important point is that the volunteer should be in good health to start
with - almost symptom free.

Also the effects of first proving must be completely over before another
proving is undertaken.

Importantly one remedy should be taken and wait a good while before a second
dose is given and as soon as symptoms start, no more doses should be
given/taken.

Deviate and you are asking for trouble!

Lastly, what happened to Kent exactly?? Did he over do it on provings on
himself?

I do not understand what you mean "what happened to Kent." Please
ask the question in some kind of context. Kent, as far as I know, did
not do many provings on himself.

Schmidt talked of Kent being turned on to homeopathy by Dr. Phelan
"... a doctor who was quite old....with his white beard and black
coat..."

When Kent met Phelan Kent was 29 and Phelan was 42. The obit pic of
Phelan shows a dark haired man with a small dark goatee.

Where did Schmidt get this info? I would not hesitate to say either
HE made it up (there is nothing like a good story!) or Gladwin did.
