When asked about recurring dreams, he mention briefly about feeling
floating..the only Rx I found for this is Hell.
I am sorry if the case seems in complete as I wasn't taking the case
specifically , just chatting as a friend to him.
Dear TC,
In short, you might take a close look at Hura bras.(especially), Baryta carb or Bar-s or a baryta, the cuprums, nat-m, gels, and psor. But reps are laid out here for hopefully a help for your study of the case...

Depression and Eczema
Re: Depression and Eczema
Hi Shannon
I am thinking about Lyc too. I feel there is a sense of impotency or
"ineffectualness" (AC, welcome to the club) Someone asked about
childhood....I don't have much details yet, but did know that
there are family problems and one parent did abuse him. One significant
symptom, in my view, is the constant effort to give a smile although he may
feel miserable inside him. Nevertheless, the smile is not really a happy
one - the sadness is visible to the careful observer. How should I
repertorise this rubic?

Re: Depression and Eczema
I haven't read the previous messages regarding this case, but what you write
here - smiling although unhappy - makes me think about the struggle involved
when one faces adversity, when one has to take on the 'beatings' of life and
yet can still try to smile etc. This in turn leads me to think about the
compositae family and in particular the remedy Taraxicum.
This is a very depressed rx and yet courageous in the face of adversity.
There is a sensation as if bound and powerless, this can also be seen in
other types of constriction in various parts of the body and there are all
sorts of skin eruptions.
Might be worth reading about.

Re: Depression and Eczema
Tc,
I didn't mention Lyc specifically in that analysis, but I did think of it (and thus do not disagree) because of the wrinkled forehead, the pusillanimous quality, the keeping up a facade. It could well be that the eczema modality is a red herring. And the religious quality you painted could be familial or cultural? rather than so personal? And as Shannon says, Lyc can be concerned with afterlife issue, though it is not typical; but lyc is such a broad bandwidth rx.... Check out with confirmatories and keynotes as I am sure you will....
Yet another idea--Sulph (that you observe in its Acon acute state of oppressed chest, worried about salvation, weeping)
Best,
Andy
