The BIH Course in the USA is run by Maria Bohle. I have no idea what

I have know Maria for almost ten years and find her to have the
utmost amount of integrity. I was happy to know that she took over
the BIH program because she really does understand homeopathy and
what is needed to practice it well. She is, also, a damn fine
prescriber.
Whatever persons wrote you those messages really owe the whole list

Re: i am new among you
I'm curious whether any of the folks who gave this "information" to Anna
would be willing to talk about it on the list, where they got the
"information" from? For years we've had various BIH students, graduates,
and other representatives as list members, and I have seen *NO* hint
whatever of this, and we have Dr. R's assurance that he wouldn't be allowed
there, if it were so!
I'd say the idea is neither a good nor a bad thing in itself -- would be
exactly what some folks would want, and exactly what others would not want;
I'm not making any judgement at all on the *idea* of a "religious christian"
homeopathy school -- could be a marvellous thing. But it would be nice to
know whether the story has any basis in reality, or was based on
misunderstanding or fabrication, or is true of a certain sub-group within
the school, or what. I am simply curious... Can anyone say where the idea
came from???
Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon,
I'm a student of the BIH and on their list.
Everything you can think about is discussed on it -
but related to homeopathy - just like on this list.
Its balanced with many different viewpoints.

I have been in communication with Maria Bohle, Director of BIHUSA, numerous times over
the past 7 years and have found her to be a very caring and helpful person. I have NOT experienced
the situation you have described. Who is sending you these messages?
Perhaps you would be interested in communicating directly with Maria.

Dear Dr Rozencwajg,
Thank you for replying. Someone else has approached me (privately) and given
me a contact to email someone involved with the school, which I will do. I
phoned my uncle today and he did warn me that this sort of thing does go on
in some schools. There are other schools I can look at as well, although the
B.I.H did seem well suited to my needs.

Dear Ishtiaq,
How very interesting to hear of your work in Pakistan. You appear to have had a good success rate with kidney diseases. Why do you think that kidney diseases are so numerous in the local population?
Incidentally, did you find Hahnemann's Organon easy to read and understand? I myself find it difficult because of the archaic language used I suspect. However, there is a translation in paperback by Kunzli, Naude and Pendleton which is much easier to read. The ISBN is 0 75284 972 7 if you are interested from Orion Books London.
By the way, I have just passed my first examination and am now starting the second section of a three part course for Dip.I.Hom.
Keep in touch,
Best Regards,
Dave.

Re: i am new among you
Dear Anna
I must have missed something (I have not been able to follow the welter of
Minutus mail during the last week)!
There is absolutely no truth in this whatsoever, in any way, under any
circumstances! I have been involved with BIH for many years now and there is
not the slightest religious tone to anything that has been done.
Believe me, as a atheist or agnostic (never sure which, not that interested)
it would have been a major turn-off for me!

Re: i am new among you
Dear Anna,
Hi! I'm sorry that I did not reply to your query right away. My
name is Natasha and I am the owner of the off-campus study group
populated by BIH students (HStudy_Hall). I was in the middle of
mid-term exams and did not see your inquiry.
I was really surprised to hear the comments made by the private
emailer concerning religion and my study group! While I am
supportive of religious freedom, my study group is about
Homeopathy! I have never discussed religion on my group and while
one graduate student has mentioned that he is religious, I wouldn't
know about the rest.
I'm sure they have beliefs but it is not a
common topic. My group talks about homeopathy, our studies and
personal experiences related to our homeopathic studies.
Concerning our school, the BIH has also been strictly about
homeopathy. No where in the course material nor in any of my
contact with tutors has religion been discussed! My tutors have
been very classical and I have enjoyed my studies with the BIH. I
especially appreciate the firm foundation in the Organon that I
received during my first year of study.
If you would like, I could make you a temporary member of my study
group, then you can see for yourself what it is like. I think you
will find a very caring and studious community.
But, the best way to judge the course material of the BIH is to read
their prospectus (http://www.bihusa.com/pdf/BIH_USA_Prospectus_2003-
2004.pdf), for my study group does not provide education, it is just
a forum where students interact.
Best wishes in your studies! Homeopathy is a wonderful and
rewarding practice.
Sincerely,
Natasha
PS: If anyone has questions about my study group, please feel free
to email me directly or through Yahoo groups:
