umeboshi
Yep, our local Sainsburys does a very good version, but lots of health food shops and deli's do them. They do look shrivelled but are in fact pickled with those Jap red colouring leaves (whatever they're called). Sucking the stones is also *the* best hangover cure... next to Nux, or erm... whatever ...

Re: Pregnancy nausea and vomiting
Also, you can try umeboshi plums, or sucking on an umeboshi plum stone. Patient I had a few days ago with debilitating nausea going on into 4 1/2 months I treated with Follic (200 single dose) mainly for her general state, but the nausea completely went after a day. Maybe worth looking at if there i...

Re: Placebo Proving
Thanks for that reference Julian :-) I think that when someone takes a potentised pill in a proving, then pretty much all of there experience is going to be related to the proving. Of course it is essential to be vigilant for the exceptions to this. A simili - if you take a sheet of coloured glass a...

Re: Placebo Proving
In my venus proving the placebo prover came up with strong symptoms, but clearly, IMHO, not of the remedy. It looks like it was her stuff coming up from the process of having an initial case taking and a pill. I later gave her the real remedy and her symptoms were of the proving. I'll see if I can g...

Re: PC Remedies - Homoeopathic? - venus
That's all a little old, but I'll try and update it in a useful format in the next week or two, and let you know. The proving is in the new edition of reference works, and will be on cara. The materia medica is what I'm working on, and the dreaded rubric additions. Interesting about Cuprum, hadn't t...

PC Remedies - Homoeopathic? - venus
Hiya folks, Someone told me venus had been mentioned here so I had a peek. Venus is as solid a proving as any other, the write up just isn't finished yet. I'm getting there though! I didn't know what would come from the venus proving before it began. What seems to be the case is that it is a combina...
