Badiaga and Rhus tox

Has anyone had any experience with using Badiaga in a case where Rhus tox isn't working well? I have a case who is on an LM series of Rhus tox, but every time she takes a dose she experiences an upwelling of emotional discharge (i.e. she cries her eyes out for a day straight). Personally, I think sh...

Re: dietary changes?

Any chance for the patient to begin accepting some responsibility for their health should be taken, and diet is one of those areas that I've found needs a little encouragement from the health practitioner to make better choices for themselves. A good approach may be just to pick ONE thing in their d...

Re: Bowleggedness

In this case, it is a child of 2 years. Children typically grow out of bowleggedness between 3 and 5 years old, but he has such an unusual body type, and his other symptoms go along with the Calcarea/Silicea kind of picture... But I didn't know the Rickets rubric anyway, so thanks! Blessings, Cristi...

Bowleggedness

Does anyone know of a rubric for being bowlegged? The closest I can find is Extremities - Knees, position of - outward. Also, I seem to recall a constitutional picture of the bowlegged, scrawny limbed person with the distended belly (especially in children), but can't remember which one. Silicea? Th...

Re: homeopathic treatment question - general

Good for you, for being proactive about your health and the health of your kids (even the little one to come!). First, any classical homeopathy approach is to strengthen the vital force, that essence that is you, so that you are more resilent, more active, more present, more vital. At any stage of h...

Observation of the flu season symptoms

Since the flu season is starting, and I've seen about 10-12 people now from two different states with the same general symptoms, I thought I would see if anyone else is getting a genus epidemicus for this year's influenza. List of Symptoms: Comes on mild, low fever throughout. Good appetite, even in...

Apis might also be worth trying, in a higher potency.

Re: skin suppression

If homeopathics are to stimulate the vital force, then I take it to mean the entire vital force, which includes the internal as well as the external environments. So maybe it's more of a case of bad prescribing...if you do not have the simillimum, but give a remedy that cures the more superficial ex...

Re: help needed

It sounds like you are in pretty good shape for your delivery. You shouldn't need anything drastic. If you have a midwife for your delivery, they should be knowledgeable in any homeopathic medicines you may need as your symptoms in labor come up. If you have an OB/GYN in a more hospital-like setting...

Re: patients to volunteer for case studies

Suzan - The nearest schools to you would be the Desert Institute for Homeopathy in Phoenix (www.weteachhomeopathy.com) and the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (www.scnm.edu - although not specifically a homeopathic school, they may have clinics that are specific to their homeopathic train...
