Sad and serious

Has been used (in infusion) as a diaphoretic, diuretic, nervine, stimulant,
tonic, anti-plethoric. Makes the blood more fluid so works on arteria
sclerosis, phlebitis, angina.
Chronic insomnia, promotes perspiration in fever, eliminates mucous from the
kidneys, bladder, lungs and stomach. Poultice for minor eye problems.
