I think what I'm looking for is people who ahev used the term miasm
contrary or different to the way HAhnemann intended in the CD. So if
you come across this, please do tell me.

I wou;n't want to make any "maismatic" conclusions about pther peole's
work when they have not described it as miasmatic, becasue they may
not even intend to mena it as so. So we need to be careful about it.

One myth I"m looking to remove (in my next article) is that Kent
called Psora "ORiginal sin" when as far as I can see, HE DID NOT. This
probably stems from either a lack of understanding of "original sin"
or a lack of understanding of Psora. Unfortunately such myths continue
for lack of clarification and I think its time we have a clear concept
about all this if only to pave the way for deeper study into David
Little's contributions on miasms or the Dhawle's Symposiums tremendous
contribution to the understanding and good clinical management based
on the miasm theory.

Bjorndal:

thanks this is what I was looking for ... and we can see how we're far
removed from homeopathy it is...
So sycosis cannot be wise and cannot think or act?... That is some
stretch! HOW does this translate clinically?
As always, any idea has to have significance in treating CLINICAL
disease .. AND clearly demarcate itself from the original Hahnemannian
concept.
No, Vijaykar says nothing of the kind in his 3rd book unless one is
insistant on looking at it that way. OF course some fo the things he
said are still conceptual speculation which he admits to and I did not
include in my article.
Vijaykar is very down to earth in his approach in dealing with
disease. HE has added morals, but I don't think he has stretched it in
this way at all - do be careful of making that assumption . Miasmatic
expression is very clearly physical expression with or without the
mental state.

IF you have any idea how I can get a secondhand version of any of
these books (Andreas Bjorndal, Peer Nesgard), or I could read it and
send it right back, I'd be happy to know. ORtega I have read.

I will give a quotte from the conclusion by Vijayakar, like I quotted
Bjorndal from his conclusion:

If you want to know how this translates clinically, please read i.e. the
book "The end of Myasmtion of Miasms" by Dr. Vijayakar

And Dr. Vijayakar is not the only one , Andreas Bjorndal, Peter Frasier,
Frans vermeulen, Mario Boiadjiev all come from different angels to these
conclusions.

Hi Piet, the importnat aspect about quotes is that they should be
quoted with reference to context. So yes, your first quote requires
the proper context with an open mind - and is is what it will recieve
when the book is read. Obviously quoting it is not going to help.

Re: Vijaykar, I was completely aware of what you were refering to in
your first email. BUT - when he said there was a good and bad side, he
was refering to a pathological miasmatic state in an individual which
can be used for GOOD purposes. Because, whatever the miasmatic
background, the person still has to live to the best of his ability in
the most acceptable and appropriate moral expression that complements
his miasmatic tendencies.
I do no think this is what your first quote refered to, but I may be
mistaken.

My interest is taht we stay gounded when we make these interpretations
becasue to the homeoapthic student with a lack of basic foundation and
even less of a psychotherapy background, all these assumptions easily
become figments of the imagination in the clinical setting of
pathological disease. Does this mean anything to you?
Angles are fine, and all of them have their place in the scheme of
things. Wihtout proper training, and wihtout a proper gounding, any
"angle" can be improperly used and applied.

So you haven't given me an idea about how I can read these books more
easily ...

Expanding our practical tools is a great asset. ITs assuming one
already had the basic tools in place.
Different view point must ALL be considered so taht the best may be used.
My problem with these viewpoints is that they insist on stretching the
term miasm to suit them when I think its best to use ANOTHER MORE
APPROPRIATE TERM. Basically it just stems the confusion that already
exists.

Sigh, Right I'll spell it out as well. I belong to a third world
country called India. I'm simply in the "poor relative" category, who
has very little money to invest in these books. International Books
that I have read are generally available here for 1/5th the price or
else I haven't read them.
So, either I settle for fewer "additional tools" and lesser articles
to write, or else I hope for some kinder suggestions in this regard.
