Digest Number 2213

Post by Steve Scrutton »

All this does point to the importance of getting CORH going. If
doctor-homeopaths want to have their own organisation, and 'lay' homeopaths
want to have 8-9 organisations to represent them, that is one thing. But for
the public we do need one organisation that is going to represent us. It is
an important issue that a BMA spokesman took this awful article as an
opportunity to take a swipe at non-doctor homeopaths. It happens too often.
Simon is right, we need to have one voice - one register, one
press/publicity point - and so on. This will happen, hopefully sooner rather
than later with the ARH, the Society, HMA and others. But the Faculty will
still insist on being on their own as they have apparently refused to take
part. That is the biggest pity.

And incidentally, doctors, pharmacists, dentists and vets on the Faculty
list have apparently not done the intensive training in homopathy that
members of ARH and other lists have done. I understand that they have done a
short part-time course of study organised by the BMA.
