FTRN 118 was:

Mucous membranes (esp of respiratory tract) and eyes
are mostly affected by this remedy.

It produces a catarrhal condition in respiratory
system. There is a loose rattling in chest but on
account of thick, ropy and tenacious mucous, the
patient cannot expectorate easily.

The patient experiences pain and hyperestesia in the
chest wall and esp over the affected area of lung.

Cough is usually accompanied by flushes of heat in the
face. Face becomes red and hot.

Weakness of sight after exertion of eyes during
reading and studying is another important feature of
this remedy. There is flickering before eyes and
letters run together.
