request for cured cases

Post by Theresa Partington »

Hi Melanie

Do you mean that you have never had any success at all with these remedies or never had a 'one remedy cures all' teaching case? If it is the latter then it seems fair enough to use your own experience and quote from the clearer case, too. I have taught on courses and also organised one and appreciate the need to get the syllabus covered, but if, in a 2 -3 year period you cannot find one lecturer who can speak on a remedy or group of remedies with authority then perhaps the co-ordiantor needs to be reconsidering the place of those remedies in the syllabus and even relegating them to a 'homework' or 'research' topic. I have taught remedies i have had no joy with, sometimes using examples from fiction or other (yugo car = Sul ac!) just to get over the main characteristics in a hopefully memorable way, but I am not comfortable with it in principle and would only do it (almost as a bit of light relief) if there were sufficient other remedies in the group that I could give better examples of. I can't help feeling that the place for mag australis cases is in a journal or a post graduate seminar, unless the purpose of the lecture is to illustrate a case-taking or repertorisation technique. Not very helpful to you but relevant in a way to existing discussion of people using remedies on flimsy grounds.

Request for cured cases.
I am going to be teaching a module at a classical homeopathic school in
September 2005. The Materia medica consists of Imponderabelia (Luna, Sol, mag
polaris, mag australis, electricitas) and sarcodes( Folliculinum).I have no
cured cases of these remedies. I was hoping someone might have a good video or
paper case of any of these remedies that they are willing and able to share with
me for teaching purposes. If so I would be most grateful if you would
contact me at
