Re: Fibroid Cases

Post by Nandana T. Pai »

Hi,
I would like to know if any body has experience in curing cases with
fibroid - i would like to study/read the cases. Both with specifics and
constitution. Any information is a welcome. I am sitting idle so does
not want to get rust so i am revising on each subject. I was looking for
the rubrics in Therapeutic pocket book and Boger;s bonninghausen's repetory.

BUT--I too would love to hear about cured fibroid cases. When the
subject came up in the past, there were a whole lot of tales of
patients who improved in every other way, but the fibroid kept growing.
A few people talked about using the "indicated remedy" and *also*
drainage (remedies and/or other approaches), and I think one person
talked about a couple of cases where the indicated remedy actually got
rid of the fibroid.

My own experience (involving one person only) has been in line with the
first set--remedies that bring improvement in every *other* way, but
have no effect whatever on the fibroid. (We are currently using other
therapies to help that part, but it seems very unsatisfactory to me.)

So--I too would love to hear others' specific experiences!

Shannon,

Homeopathic Iodine may be helpful in fibroids. Iodine, Chlorine, Bromide
and Flouride are all members of the Halogen group, (explaination following)
which compete for the same receptors in the body. Previously, I was having
problems with fibroids, and found it was classic in MM for Thyroidinum. I
was on too much supplemented Thyroid at the time.... When I took a break
from the T-3 (Cytomel) therapy I had been on, the fibroids went away.

From reading a book sent to me by a Chiropractor on Iodine, I came to see
that Potassium Iodide was very successful in treating Breast Fibroids!
Think of all the women having such painful procedures on this one item, that
could be saved by using Potassium Iodide.

Another thing I realized was that I had always thought Bromide was a better
choice of sterilizer for pools in place of Chlorine. I now see they're
about the same in their harmful effects to stealing receptor sites for
Iodine.
Dr. Sherri Tenpenny and the Role of Iodine in Breast Health
by L. Farrow ....

Sherri Tenpenny, D.O,. of Cleveland...(see _www.novaccines.com..) is now
vigorously pursuing the role of iodine deficiency in the breast in her
practice....fibrocystic breast disease. Reporting on years of research by
Ghent and Eskin, Dr.Tenpenny cites a 40-70% improvement in pain and
measurable reduction of breast fibrosis.

Secondly, Ghent observed a two-fold reduction in the incidence of breast
cancer in patients treated with iodine....

Tenpenny makes the case that breast tissue is a "sponge" for iodine, and
asserts "the minimum amount of iodine to protect the breast from fibrocystic
disease and cancer is 20-40 times more than is needed to prevent goiter
(i.e., 3-4 mg/day for breasts.)" She cites Ghent's article in the Canadian
Journal of Surgery (1993).

What is the mechanism of action? One theory is that the iodine helps rid
the congested tissues of the breast from dead cells and toxins....

This snippet below is very interesting explaination of HOW this all
works.....
The Law of Halogen Displacement. There are five elements that
make up what is known as the HALOGEN family of elements. The Halogen Law
states
that, "The Halogen element having the lowest atomic weight will ALWAYS
DISPLACE another, within the Halogen group, whose atomic weight is greater."
Arranged in ascending order, the Halogen family is as follows:

Element Symbol Atomic Weight

Fluorine F 9
Chlorine Cl 17
Bromine Br 35
Iodine I 53
Asatine At 85

Both Fluorine and Chlorine are sometimes additives to public water supplies.
These two toxic elements will ALWAYS displace Iodine, an element that is vit
ally needed to protect your Thyroid gland and prevent "goiter" and poisoning
from "radioactive fallout." Fluorine will decompose almost ALL compounds to
form fluorides, and, the most important element for man's existence---OXYGEN
---will never combine with it. Both the element Fluorine and Hydrofloric
Acid are
dangerous "cumulative poisons". Chlorine is a greenish-yellow gas that,
because it attacks the respiratory tract, is almost always included in most
of the
"war gases'. Recent research about why the earth's stratosphere (the slab
of
air that is roughly 10 - 30 miles above the earth's surface) is LOSING Ozone
(O3)---which is the earth's only defense against the effects of potentially
harmful ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION from the Sun---has disclosed the problem to be
pollution that is caused from chemical combinations known as
"Chlorofluorocarbons"
(CFCs). The Ultraviolet light from the Sun breaks down the CFCs into their
constituents of carbon, fluorine, and chlorine. In this instance of
POLLUTION
of our vitally needed Ozone Layer, it is the chlorine that---split by UV
rays---in turn then splits the Ozone into Oxygen and CHLORINE MONOXIDE.
And, the
"smoking gun" that is proof as to what is now destroying our Ozone Layer is
the
presence of CHLORINE MONOXIDE found in the Earth's stratosphere.

I have seen at least half a dozen cases where fibroids have gone
completely with consistent treatment.

Thanks, Simon!
Can you say more about it--did you need to use "local" remedy as well,
or was it a matter of finding the "right" overall / consittutional /
chronic remedy? Or some of each?

Really it was very easy, they presented clearly as either of those
remedies, and so that's what I gave
the important thing was they they persevered in taking their remedy,
and came for regular follow ups (progress reports)

FLUORIDES are compounds and not halogens

Fluorine is a halogen!

Do you recall how long it took to see results--not to have the thing
finished, but to know that the fibroid was being helped, not just
"everything else"? That "waiting" thing is always the worst for me!
:-)
I assume that there was variability, but maybe a general range before
you could tell that that was moving, too?
