Scallops

Post by Tom Elder »

Does anyone have a repertory listing for agg. scallops? This is not
agg. shellfish, he "loves shrimp". Also he has aversion to fish and
desires tomato juice (daily).

This is a long time client, ten years, whom I have not seen for a few
years. He has returned saying "my life couldn't be better". But he
wants to know if this "scallops thing" can be healed. His father has
the same specific aggravation to scallops.

Any rep listings would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I'd consider shrimp a "shellfish." It's actually a crustacean -- more similar to some insects than to scallops, etc...

The first remedy I'd look at would be Urt-u -- depending on what the symptoms are that scallops aggravate.

He's suffering from a condition known as 'scallops'?
I thought that's what happened to frightened horses!

Why is it so vital to eat scallops? there is so much else he CAN eat - some things just ain't right for us individually - why does he want to ingest something his body rejects?

Oh well.

The thing I couldn't glean from the original posts was WHAT aggravated
from eating scallops?
OR was it that he has a DESIRE for scallops? Not the same thing.
Simon

Dear Colleagues
Scallops are molluscs with two hinged shells (bivalves) which filter their
food from the surrounding water.
They filter everything and store some and can be high heavy metals and
elements such as Ars.

Some people with cirrhosis and impaired bile flow (such as in Wilsons
disease or PBC) can have an excess amount of copper accumulate in the liver.
If laboratory tests confirm copper excess, most doctors would recommend
avoiding shellfish, which is rich in copper, along with recommending medical
treatment to reduce copper stores.

In my view, they should be avoided.

Hello, couldn't you say the same about so many foods? One would have to choose a
macrobiotic or possibly a vegan diet to avoid such poisons or unnecessary foods. But
avoidance still doesn't deal with how the constitution shows symptoms from such
damaging foods and if an aggravation occurs it either means it is a good thing because it
is ridding the body of something poisonous or it means the constitution is weak in a
certain area and so meaning that further healing could be achieved. Thanks. Kerry.

Dear Thomas

At 01-05-2005 Sunday, you wrote:
"Desires tomatos" makes me think of their high potassium content... which in turn triggers my thoughts about the nutritional content of "scallops". Perhaps a little research might uncover a link? Often nutition plays a part in these cravings and aggravations.

Besides that, why not simply go vegetarian and solve the matter!! ;-)
