injury

Post by Laura Peterson »

Hello,
My son broke a finger bone playing soccer. He chipped off the edge of
the first thumb digit at the joint between it and the second digit. This
happened three days ago and we discovered it on X-ray yesterday. Arnica
helped and Ledum has helped the bruising. He can use it. He has not
seen an orthopedic doctor yet. Are there any remedies that might help
reabsorb this fragment or will the body take care of it? I am hesitating
to give him Symphytum yet since the fragment is unattached.
Thanks,
Laura Peterson

my mom had an injury at work

she fell back onto cement hard on her butt....... x ray shows no bone injury but lots of bruising and the muscle on one side of her butt is shredded so Im guessing torn.
she has pain when sitting when laying hard to sleep from pain....and from bending forward. She is ok standing she is in pain when starting to walk but after continuing to walk she is fine.
I have given her arnica 3 doses so far no difference
I was thinking ruta but any thoughts would again be appreciated...
I would like to know if when a person has an injury and after a remedy the pain goes away....is that always a sure sign that the injury is healed or will an exray be needed to confirm.

for ex about 3 years ago my mom ripped her shoulder x ray showed 3 tears--was bad for months. I have her bryonia and it healed means no pain...but does that mean the tears are gone or healed. Homeopathy wouldn't act as just a painkiller ever would it masking the injury...

thx

It is time you started to study homeopathy.

Homeopathy works as a catalysis to stimulate the body to repair (heal), There is nothing but a kind of hologram in the remedies themselves.

Your mom sustained an injury, the second one in a short period of time (3 years), is there a deeper issue here? Not saying there is, but worth noting.

If you give a remedy, you need to be sure you are stimulating the right condition (pathology).

No pain? That does not mean it is healed or better, just because you can remove pain in a broken bone, does not mean the bone does not need to be set, or doesn't need time to knit and repair.

People come for acute treatment all the time, we give a remedy and they seem to get better instantly, but then whatever weakness that caused the acute is never addressed so without rest and time to repair that weakness they just get sick again...... A bit of rest, right foods, taking it easy would protect them much better from the second illness.

true its just that its an acute so I figured maybe something could help. Maybe it will heal within a week or so hopefully.
Yes she is prone to injuries
I will study it in the future but as of yes I still have health problems and am being treated by a homeopath so I still have to wait....

a question to maria---------you say if pain is gone it does not mean the injury is healed....could it ever happen that the injury gets way worse but he person wont know it or feel it because the remedy took the pain away ?

If your mother hit her coccyx area in her fall and pain is coming from that
area...look up hypericum. If pain isn't coming from that area..then I don't
know.

What's more likely to happen is that, with the pain gone, the person feels fine, overdoes it, and ends up worsening the injury. They have to be cautioned that the absence of pain does not mean the problem has gone away; their body still needs TLC to recover properly.
Peace,
Dale
