After spending all day on this case (!! and I still have another new case to work on) I feel that Causticum suits best on reading Clarke. The question I have now is about posology considering the medication he is on. My thoughts are 6 repeated in a water potency, a 1M taken in water and then followed by 6 daily. Any one got any other ideas? I still think that the Mag Phos tissue salts are a good idea as well.

I don't wish to be argumentative, but rather express another possible approach. Of course this is all 'theoretical' since only you know this individual, the full case, the temperment, vitality, etc. Given what you have described I might consider using the tissue salts only for a 'trial period', seeing if the individual could be comforted and potentially removed from (or at least lowered) the heavy medications. Then if the selected constitutional remedy still seemed a good match, proceed with either a single 30 or 200C (in water) or consider LMs (depending on the compliance of the individual). I would be hesitant to start off with 1M when the individual was having problems with (and still on) their current heavy meds, particularly when you say he is sensitive to a single trial of a remedy at 6x for the sinus problems. Also ( other than tissue salts) I am unfamiliar with the approach of using daily 6x dosing of the constitutional remedy. Guess I'm from the one dose then watch and wait school of thought.

No way do I consider you are being "argumentative" but informative!! It is up to his prescribing physician to reduce the heavy medication not me but my attitude is if it is not improving things but making him feel worse he shouldn't be on it. I can't believe that he was working as a plumber and driving until December - which was when he went on the medication, as he seems so bad now. My problem is that he came to me for the sinus problem not the Parkinson's and I have to convince him that the way to go is a totality of symptoms. I don't do LM's but will do water potencies.I wonder if the 6C(not x) of the Kali Mur was too low- too physical- as this can cause the problems. I have looked at Clarke and can't see any of the aggs he described to me. I also want to know if this stomach spasm is a common symptom of Parkinson's.
A daily low potency dose was taught to us at college from eminent lecturers for dealing with a patient who is on potent medication to make sure the Rx gets through as usually I am also from the 1 dose (usually 200or 1M) and wait brigade. So saying I have given 1 dose high to patients on anti depressants and they have done very well.
