ecchymosis

Hello All,

Is this ecchymosis ?- occurring on the tibia on and
off changing places, reddish brown, painful to touch .

Sorry if it looks a bit dumb. Is ecchymosis a
phenomenon of skin or of the circulation ? Especially
if it occurs during treatment of recurrent cough with
the tubercular miasm predominating, does this mean
outward manifestation or suppression ?

YEs I would think Erythema Nodosum as a greater possiblity - not
echymosis.

Echymosis is an extravasation of blood from the blood vessels - for
which Arnica is th remedy.

PAinful and tender blue patches is a skin expression, and is some
sort of Chronic infalmmatory process manifesting acutely. I haven't
referred to any MEdical text book, so this is offhand.

I could get more medically accurate if you need the exact possible
diagnosis.

Thanks Jean and Leela,
I also am left to wonder whether this is actually a
proving left over by Silicea and previously by phos
200. Now the acute attacks are countered by puls and
the follow up is an occasional tub.
I was also a little incorrect in stating changing of
places. The correct expression would be" bruised like
spots without actual contusion on the tibial region
successively on nearby places one after the other".
the medical dictionaries describe this condition as
self resolving especially in children. I would also
wecome the diagnosis if possible.

Ant-crud also reps up high in this instance in Radar. Check to see if the

When you apply ;ressure on these 'bruised spots', do they blanche and
retrun to colour, or do they remain discoloured?
What is the exact size of these spots?
