Re: MRI
A patient with hearing loss issues is going to have a very long 45 minute MRI that involves looking for brain tumors and neuromas and possibly the ear structure. Allopaths looking for cause of hearing loss.
Concern is for spending so much time under powerful magnets, person is highly energy conscious, aware, practices Reiki and yoga.
They felt sick years ago after a much shorter MRI.
Hahnemann used magnets and there are north and sole pole magnet remedies, Magnetus Polus Articus and Australis.
Any ideas how MRI could affect a 200C constitutional remedy, like antidote it?
Would the magnet remedies be useful before and/or after MRI, like taking a remedy before surgery, etc.?

Re: MRI
Interesting questions. I don't really know the answers, but I would certainly assume an MRI could antidote one's constitutional. Since this person felt sick after a short MRI, I'd encourage him/her to look for alternatives -- anything to avoid another. It sounds preposterous to use such a heavy-duty tool to check into hearing loss.

Re: MRI
Tumours are rarer than otosclerosis, agree, but if and when you get it, it is 100% for you.
I am not a betting person and especially not with health and life. I want to know what is happening so I know what to treat and how to treat properly. I always ask "what would I do if it was me in this situation?"
The answer is that I would do all the investigations necessary to get a clear picture. I can reverse the damage from a MRI, so can all homeopaths...I find it a lot more difficult to treat a brain tumour.

Re: MRI
I would like to add an additional caution regarding MRI's. Many if not most brain MRI's are done with contrast to enhance the images. The contrast dye contains the toxic metal Gadolinium. It is chelated in the dye and supposedly passed in the urine within a few hours in persons with normal kidney function. However I am living proof this is not the case. Four 4 years since my last MRI with contrast I am still 4 times the reference range. I am on another message board for people who like myself have retained Gadolinium in spite of normal kidney function. I am not an isolated case. Some chelating agents are stronger than others. Once the Gadolinium is free it is highly toxic. Heavy metals are known endocrine disruptors. My autoimmune system is a mess. It has altered my entire life. I now take every opportunity I get to warn others.

Dear Bearpaws
As you have not been well since taking the contrast medium, have you tried taking the contrast medium in potency - eg 30C?
