Homeopathy remedy for thyroid problem

Hi,

I am new to this group. I would appreciate if anyone could give me
any tip treating the thyroid problem in birds. My parakeet is having
thyroid problem since 8/2004. He's been on Lugol's solution over 4
months for 2 drops of it with 1-oz water. With the solution, his
symptom of sound has reduced, but not much. With Lugol's
solution, this bird goes hyper and breathes faster than his normal
breathing. I know there is a medicine called Thyreoidea compositum
(Heel) according to `Natural Health Care For Your Bird' by Bernard
Dorenkamp. Has anyone used this remedy on birds? I know the remedy,
Thyreoidea compositum, is a mixture of multiple remedies. If so,
how much and how long have you given? Or if anyone has consulted
with avian homeopathy vet, I like to hear from others too. Also,
which remedies are best for liver detox? Thanks.
