Large rubrics and basic emotions

Post by mohajer »

One dangerous idea creeping into Homoeopathy is preferring a symptom to the
patient. Unfortunately people like Sankaran and Sehgal have added to the
confusion by unduly emphasizing interpretations and delusions.

In chronic cases when we take the case we study the patient and mostly by
observing but to some extent by questioning and we categorize the patient.
There are some rubrics that are very important first of all is the patient
an extrovert or an introvert or equivert.

Then how do we feel about the patient do we think of his as a positive
person or more of a negative character. If positive is the patient
cheerful, sympathetic or mild. If we don't feel so positive is the patient
angry, sad, jealous, indifferent, nervous, etc. The remedy we choose should
cover the basic emotion of the patient. We can not expect much good from
Argentum if the patient is not nervous, nor can we expect much good from
puls if the patient is very firm.

The basic type of the remedy should match the main rubric in a high grade
and that is where these large rubrics come in.

Best regards
Elham
