Subj: Homeopathic Emergency Response Team for National Crisis

Greetings! I hope that this finds you well.
I am writing in regards to the formation of an emergency responseteam
for national crisis. The NCH has decided to take this on as a much needed
project in the face of recent events. We are working in conjunction with
Homeopaths Without Borders. I am writing because we need to move somewhat
quickly and it would take to long to reach you all by phone.
There are three aspects to this. The first is the creationof a team of
homeopathic professionals who would be willing to serve on a committee that
would work to determine the genus epidemicus in the event of chemical
disease, epidemic disease or bio-terrorism. Please let us know if any
individual(s) from your organization would be interested in participating on
this.
The second aspect would be to create a listing of homeopathic
professionals that would be willing to respond more directly to crises. The
NCH is working to make homeopathy a viable alternative in rescue operations.
This will involve working with the Red Cross and FEMA. This wouldinclude
individuals who would be willing to travel to disaster sites as well as
those who would be willing to treat disaster victims pro bono.
Is this project something that your organization andorganizational
membership would be interested in participating in? If so, please canvas
your membership and have those that are interested contact the NCH at 801 N.
Fairfax Street, Suite 306, Alexandria VA 22314; 703-548-7790; 703-548 7792
(fax). It will also be possible to sign up on our website.
The third aspect is that the NCH is establishing a web site forthe
public and its membership dealing with issues of chemical and biological
terrorism, post traumatic stress. We hope to have this up and running in
the next week. The website address is www.homeopathic.org. We would
welcome articles to be included in the website on these topics. Submissions
can be sent to Joe Lillard at jlillard@intrepid.net and will be reviewed for
inclusion by the Emergency Response Committee (Jay Borneman, Joyce Frye, Joe
Lillard, Todd Rowe and Betty Wood). All submitted articles that areplaced
on the website will be included as is. If there are any changes to a
submission, we will obtain the author¹s permission prior to use.
Lastly, in conjunction with the HCC, there will be a meeting atthe next
NCH Annual Conference in 4/2002 for leaders of all the various homeopathic
organizations. I will be writing in more detail about this in the near
future, but I thought that emergency response should be central on the
agenda for the meeting.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions in thisregard.

Warmly,

Todd Rowe
President, NCH
