As requested...

Manganum sx picture begins with complaints from being tied down and/or
suppressed (there appears to be a long term suppression of emotions in this
case).

They can suppress their own emotions and wear a different persona, like a
mask, you cannot tell who they really are.

As this all takes time to develop you will see anxiety and fear developing,
as if something bad is going to happen (in many cases it already has and
this too has been suppressed and is a secret). They can be sad and weepy,
constantly moaning and groaning (poker faced is a common expression),
talkative or expressionless and unresponsive - but either way they do not
reveal their inner feelings - can be like Nat mur in this. Hard to nail down
but you just feel there is something they haven't told you.

They cannot resolve, fritter away at things, always doing something but not
arriving, so to speak. Quite unstable in this area. They only dream about
what they could have done. Cannot deal with responsibility.

They constantly feel under the threat of some kind of attack and therefore
feel the need to defend themselves against that attack - attack here doesn't
necessarily mean a physical attack on their person. But they can't defend
because they are powerless. It is an ongoing battle between suppression and
deep sadness and huge pent up emotion which has to come out somehow.

In Sheri's case I see this as the constant chanting of "I can't" and
rambling and walking around.

Because manganese is vital to the blood (iron) there is extreme nervousness
and weakness.

Everything is >>> lying down (but now this does not seem to be vital to the
case)

Physicals are mainly in the

stomach = cannot eat, feel as if the throat is closed

brain = parkinson's (carbon monoxide or manganese poisoning which causes
exaggerated reflexes, constantly walking strangely, wasting away)

blood = anaemia

ears = all pains go to the ears

larynx and trachea = voice changes

bones = inflammation, very sensitive, chronic arthritis, weak joints

lungs = asthma and bronchitis

It is mainly a syco-syphilitic remedy and the more Sheri tells us about the
case the less I am inclined to think about this rx as a certainty but
definitely worth considering, mainly because of the suppression which has
finally found a way out, albeit not a curative avenue.

Others have mentioned the possibilities of poisonings and/or depletions.
This can be misleading and at worst theoretical - always best to go by the
symptoms as far as homeopathy is concerned. I would have thought that
depletions are relatively slow to show and poisons can be rapid or slow.
There seems to be a degree of suddenness to the case, even though there is a
long history of suppressed emotions.
