Dr. Hamer incarceration

Dear Minutus folks,

Dr. Hamer's work has been the topic of discussion on this board on more than
one occassion. I am posting this information in case anyone is interested
in helping out especially any Minutusians living in France or Spain. I
cannot believe he was tried and convicted without being present to defend
himself! Viva la France

Dear Friends,
As some of you may already know, Dr. Hamer was arrested at his home
on the morning of Thursday, September 9th and taken to a jail in Madrid
where he is being held for extradition to France. This persecution by the
French authorities started on February 1st, 2000, when, in Dr. Hamer's
absence, he was charged, tried, and found guilty of practising medicine
without a licence. The prosecution at his trial asked for a sentence of "no
more than one year". The subsequent appeal not only failed; it has resulted
in almost doubling his time for incarceration. The French Court of Appeal
has condemned Dr. Hamer to three years in a French prison.
Dr. Hamer has not set foot in France since 1993 when he attended the
funeral of a dear friend, the Count D'Oncieu de la Batie. He was there for a
matter of hours and the French authorities have alleged that he saw three
patients during that time. These were cancer patients who had all undergone
conventional treatments and subsequently died. The authorities are alleging
that Dr. Hamer was responsible for their deaths.
Dr. Hamer is now 69 years old and still in good health. However,
when I spoke with him on this matter, he told me he would not be able to
survive another incarceration, especially in a French prison.
Dear friends, please do what you can to help Dr. Hamer. He has given
the world so much, and above all, new hope for patients with cancer. I will
keep you updated if there is any news.

“Many thanks for your numerous messages and for your spontaneous
help in financially supporting Dr. Hamer. At the moment, unfortunately, we
have no information other than that Dr. Hamer has been held in a Madrid jail
since Sept 10, 2004.
Please be aware that Dr. Hamer's life is in danger. French
authorities do not bother with “niceties", and three years of imprisonment
and psychiatric incarceration could wipe Dr. Hamer out forever.
It is absolutely necessary to make the authorities understand they
have to avoid this injustice.
To do this we must send e-mails, letters, faxes, telephone >
messages and appeals to prevent Dr. Hamer's transfer to France.
We ask you to get in touch with the different authorities provided
hereunder and to protest massively!
Please write a few brief heartfelt lines or long letters, as you
wish, but above all, send them many times.
Every intervention counts !!!
