I'm with David Little in that most vitamin supplements probably wind up
in the toilet. Assimilation is the key and fixing that with homeopathy
should be our focus. Edgar Cayce said that taking vitamins robs the body of the
ability to absorb nutrients from food. (A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, VA USA can
come up with the exact quote and context I'm sure). That was enough to give me
pause long before I knew about homeopathy.

Re: Vitamins
The important point to me is whether those vitamins (or whatever) make the
person *feel* better, and *function* better. My test for whether vitamins
(or remedies or whatever) are worthwhile, is whether they *work* for me. If
I've been taking a particular formula for a longish time and things are
"less than perfect", I stop *everything* for a while, reassess what's
happening, and begin again with one or two things at a time, so I can see
what is doing what. As long as I see them *working*, I find arguements
about winding up in the toiler, or whatever, to be a little silly.
That said, it's important to know *why* you are taking something, and if
it's not working, stop taking it.
Edgar Cayce is one of my "heros"
, so I will be interested to find the
exact reference, but in no case would that outweight my extensive personal
experience about what works for *me*.
Cheers,
Shannon
