Sonicare etc. [was: alternative therapies antidoting homeopathy?

Post by Shannon Nelson »

Hi Ginny,

Thanks for sharing this! I'm delighted to hear, because I think they sound
like neat gadgets. :-)

Anyone else have experience? (And there are other brands besides Sonicare,
but I've blanked out on the names... Any of the "sonic waves disrupting
plaque" thingies?)

I have several inlays, crowns, etc., that have been in place since
before the Sonicare, which I started using about seven years ago. There
have been no problems with anything loosening. I have a friend with
many inlays, implants, root canals, etc., who also uses a Sonicare with
no problems as well.

These are not ultrasonic, but just regular oscillation. The device
which generates the oscillation is an electromagnet, which of course
carries some implications, whatever they might be:)
