you recommend a cured case book?

Along the same lines as favorite materia medica, does anyone have favorite books describing cured cases?

What is a cured case? I am a student asking, not presenting an opinion. The definition may vary. Massimo Mangialavori gives the criterion of cases that have remained cured for 2 years. That seems short to me... Zig-zagging to the cure would, might not count for this purpose although it may produce a legitimate cure? Also, he says in cured cases that are very expressive of the curing remedy are cases whose acute symptoms are also cured by their constitutional remedy. He argues that cured cases can give better descriptions of the remedy than the provings. Sounds controversial. Most descriptions of remedies and discussions are based on the author's clinical experience, but the issue of defining a cured cases is not very explicit. Certain small remedies that traditionally have a narrow range of use are not as well described in the MM as a student could wish. Such remedies might be better described in a cured case.

I like R. Sankaran but I don't have much other reading experience but would like more.

I don't know if you have any of the major software programs. In EH, for example, you can search for cured cases for any remedy, and will probably come up with a few.

Also in EH, the Homeopathic Recorder is a journal that went from around 1880 to 1920 something. each issue seems to have a bunch of cured cases.

both books are readily available.

Might look at: 40 YEARS OF PRACTICE by G. H. G. Jahr -- lots of good cases

The Homeopathic Recorder was issued from 1886 until 1959. Many cured
cases within.

Most of the places where cured cases are found are in the JOURNALS--n
and many are now available in EH.
