Dear Nandana and all,
Early stages (asymptomatic, symptom free) are easier to treat, no doubt. "Before and lossing the immunity" is not an accurate expression. A person is losing immunity from day one of infection unless they are actively working to prevent it. ie through proper nutrition, herbal/homeopathic support etc. Let's say "from totally losing their immunity".
GOOD NUTRITION is the number 1 treatment for HIV/AIDS. There's a lot of info on the web about this. Please don't neglect guiding your patient on this matter.
The mental shock on learning one is HIV+ has to be dealt with, only rx's will not always do the trick. Counselling and emotional support is critical. Often there is social and family ostracism the person has to deal with, and usually grief from losing a partner (which is how they often realise they are + themselves).
Personally I never had much confidence in using AIDS nosode as the source of the donor is, necessarily, secret. Besides the source was an American (or european) and homosexual. That "picture" I didn't find applicable to the African "picture".
AIDS Miasm? Well here in Africa I can certainly believe it emerging as many babies are born from + parents. Can I describe it? not really, I haven't studied this disease as a "miasm". I would say, however, this disease carries more secrecy, shame, denial and grief than anything else. (more sycotic than sycosis, more syphilic than syphilis)
Our practical experience in Kenya has been multi-level.
1. PC1
PC1 from Peter Chappell appears to work very well with consistency. It can be used alone with nutritional support. Even late stage pts respond within days and weeks. All sx subside, appetite increases, etc.
However care must be taken that the pt is monitored for compliance to instructions. We have had occasions when PC1 caused a downturn (aggravations or what?). Usually due from non-compliance to instructions (including abstinence / safe sex during treatment). Howver when PC1 works, it works incredibly well.
At the upcoming Int'l AIDS Conference in Bangkok in July, I will be distributing a document from Peter as well as some results from our naturopathic protocols. [no, i will not be "presenting" because this Conference is still very much an allopathic-world bank-bill gates thing. they aren't interested in alternative medicine, but I'll still get a few minutes to say something]
I've put this document on the Abha Light website and can be downloaded as a pdf file.
2. Naturopathic & nutritional support
Naturopathic & nutritional support is essential for any PLWHA (person living with HIV/AIDS). No medicine alone will ever do the trick. If the person neglects right nutrition, your medicine will fail no matter how you give it.
Based on the Mark Konlee's website www.keephope.net and his book Immune Restoration Handbook, I published the book Great Health Naturally (with copyright privileges from Mark). GHN is especially geared to the poor as affordable immune-based therapy. True it's got a bit of a Kenyan tilt, but the basic info is universal. You can read it online on the Abha Light website or order hardcopies from ALF.
3. Constitutional & Therapeutic Homeopathic Approaches
From the homeopathic viewpoint, HIV is (nearly) like any other disease. Treat in the method already know. Treat on the symptoms presented. Even if you choose not to try PC1, our classical and therapeutic approaches work well.
Remember, it is NOT a "chronic" disease but sort of a long-term "acute". The difference being that in this situation, multiple infections are likely to occur simultaneously and frequently, each *may* have its own *picture*. The complexity of symptoms may or may not be contained in a single remedy. The virulance of the disease(s) may need a rapid response from the practitioner. In later stages you may need to be seeing the patient frequently- every week or so - until you see their health pick up.
Constitutional: If the person in still in early stages without many complications, we find constitutional work well to maintain the immune system. Still, I question its efficacy, in exclusive of other treatment, actually reducing the viral load. It may or may not work, I don't have stats for that.
Therapeutic: In later stages of HIV/AIDS, we found therapeutic/clinical approaches to be effective, and perhaps multiple remedies needed. In these cases we may give tinctures (up to 3x), mixed potencies and remedies to attack the multi-level problems that are being faced. Rapid changes in remedies may be necessary.
(I've recently wondered if applying Dr.Ramakrsnan's plussing technique would be effective?)
Some common remedies we've found effective:
tinctures: neem, africa potato, alfalfa, organ-specifics
in low or high potencies: hydrogen, ars. lyc, phos, sepia, thuja, nat mur, rhus tox. & "disease-" or "organ-" "specific" therapeutic rxs.
Other good things: orally taken Hydrogen Peroxide, see internet for info. Colloidal silver in small and infrequent doses only. Any kind of "immune-boster" and vitamin/mineral supplements.
Some common conditions that must be constantly dealt with:
Candida (oral, intestinal, genital)
This is the most difficult chronic cnodition to deal with, and not dealing with it immediately can bring the rest of the immune system down completely.
Intestinal health is a must.
96% of HIV resides within the GI Tract, expecially in the intestines. The pH of the intestines should be below 6,0 to literally kill off HIV. This can be done with naturopathic and herbal approaches. (see Great Health Naturally)
