Puls in pregnancy

There are warnings in our literature about Sepia but I have found it one of
the best and most frequently indicated remedies in pregnancy and it has
always done good(in fact if I were to chhose three remedies for morning
sickness it would be Sepia, Tabacum and Kreosote).
Puls can cause abortion at times (not every time). In fact I know of at
least six or seven cases where Puls was given for some thing or the other
during pregnancy and it caused an abortion.

Perhaps rather than "cause" an abortion, it simply "facilitated" one that
need to happen anyway (flawed fetus)? In the same way that silica (or other
indicated remedy) doesn't "cause" a splinter, but will discharge it if that
is what needs to happen?

The same thought occurred to me when I read Elham's post about Puls and abortions. I know that some homeopaths think it is one of the most indicated remedies in some pregnancies. Are there any others on the list who can speak to this question?

I once had Puls *following* a miscarriage, and what a blessing it was. (The
puls, not the miscarriage!) I assume that my state afterwards was only an
extension of my state prior. If I'd been given Puls beforehand and
miscarriage followed, my homeopath would *certainly* have reassured me that,
for whatever reason, the pregnancy needed to end, and the remedy had only
facilitiated what would have happened anyway. As it happened, "events
unfolded" before I got in for my appointment, so he was spared the need!
But I really, really, really assume that this *is* the usual situation, when
Puls (or *any other remedy*) is followed by miscarriage. I really, really,
really don't think that a reasonable dosage of a well-indicated remedy will
bring about harm.

Yup, that's my bias, and nothing I can prove...
But I do find it both more comfortable/comforting *and* more consistent with
my understanding and experience of homeopathy, and the way that remedies
work.
