prophylactic for TB?

Dear all,

While we're on the subject of vaccinations, prophylactics and so on I have a concept I'd like to air with you.

I mentioned earlier that 2 homeopaths here were independently researching Malaria Off & Malaria Nos. respectively as prophylactic for malaria in endemic areas. They are having a good result with their respective researches, as far as they have gone with it to date.

In Kenya certain diseases are pandemic / epidemic - malaria, typhoid, parasites, etc. HIV infects about 12% of the national population, among certain groups, up to 40%.

In Kenya, about 75%+ of PWLHAs (persons living with HIV/AIDS) will get infected with TB at one time or another, while about 50% of TB patients are HIV+, usually undetected until they are diagnosed with TB. I don't know the overall statistic % of general population infected with TB.

TB is on the rapid increase here. Poverty, overcrowded slum and squatter's lands, lack of sanitation, etc all contribute.

Layered on top of this is another aspect too. That is, nowadays infants are BCG'd, preferably on the day they are born. Consequences of this you can imagine. (could BCG be a contributing factor to the increase in TB ?!)

The usual (allopathic) "prophylactic" against TB for PLWHAs is Septrin (alias Bactrin). The side-effects of Septrin* are such that an asymptomatic PLWHA will start showing signs (side effects) as if they have full blown AIDS. That will certainly plunge them into a cycle of more drugs (if they can afford it) and a rapid decline into death. Well, ALF is, in fact, able to treat many of these patients back to health with homeopathy, herbals, naturopathy and bio-oxidative therapy.

Now here's my concept that I would like to get some feedback on.

I am considering a research for TB prophylactic for HIV+ persons, or even general populations. That is, simply Tuberculinum 200 (? or what else?) given, perhaps, biannually (as is being done in the malaria research mentioned above)

If prophylactics work against malaria, measles, diptheria, chickenpox etc in communities suffering epidemics, then shouldn't it be possible to homeopathically protect the masses against TB in populations (ie HIV+, other certain groups) where the infection rate is above 50%?

I'm inviting your imput on this research concept.

Dear Didi,

It certainly sounds like a very worthwhile idea. The only variable I can see possibly interefering would be the concurrent HIV infection and its effect on the ability of the Vital Force to respond to the prophylactic remedy. When you design your study, you might want to factor in existing concurrent HIV infection as a variable to discern what its effect is on the effectiveness of prophylactic treatment.

Hi Didi,

Do you have any more to share on your use of Peter's AIDS remedy? Wouldn't
that be the most direct route to reducing TB in PLWHA's (other than
constitutional treatment, general health measures and sanitation)?

For the other folks Tuberculinum (or Bacillinum) seems reasonable enough,
from what we've been hearing. Assuming you're already doing all you can re
sanitation and other health issues. (Wow, where to start...) Do keep
letting us know what you're seeing success with, whatever learning you can
share with us!
