Hi Group,
To those especially in the know of the evolution of
Boger's repertory.
In a conversation which was published as an article Dr
Roberts among others refer to the Synoptic Key as the
Boger's repertory.This was in the 30 s. Roberts also
speaks of talking to Boger himself about too much
generalisation etc. During the conversation Roberts
mentions that he uses the Boenninghaussen rep the most
and that it is the most perfect and foolproof.
But Boger was all along updating his larger Rep, "
Boger- Boenninghaussen char. and Repertory" . My
question is whether Roberts ever referred to the
larger rep and whether it was available to the
profession at the time.
One more question is whether the Indian print is the
only first edition made of the Boger's rep. (Despite
The brilliance of the arrangement, it had to remain in
relative obscurity till the likes of Phatak, Bhanu
desai and recently Hans Weitbrecht started using it
earnestly.)
Will someone shed some light ?
Regards
Venkat

Of course it is. Boger did TWO repertories: The one which came as
part of the "Synoptic Key" and the "General Analysis" which became a
card repertory.
This book is NOT Boger's but Boenninghausen's. It WAS known at the
time. It was listed as one of the needed repertories by Woodbury in
his 1931 article about "The Homeopathic Armamentarium"
The book was published by Boger in 1905. THAT was the first edition.
It was ten *re-published* by Roy in Calcutta in 1937, and that
included a number of Boger's upgrades and commentaries.
