Have you looked at Cuprium Met? It has respiratory ailments arising
from suppressed eruptions (ulcer, diarrohea), dry cough ameliorated by
drinking cold water.

In the chronic stage, morning and evening cough (none during day). Some
times a cough before or after midnight. I suspected the fan causing
the dryness of larynx since he was breathing as if from a dry throat.
With a few sips of water he just went to sleep.
The temperature modality is just not clear even for me. He cannot take
milk
hot and wants them cold.
At a mental level, he is a headstrong boy ( age 6).
Causatively: Had an eruption like open ulcer about a centimeter all
over the
body four years back. Allopathically controlled, he had a gushing,
violent, horrible smelling dysentery . Which again was allopathically
treated and then a whooping type of cough started. Allpotahic treatment
didn't help.
Then I became a convert to homepathy and learnt it myself.
