Pertussis

Post by Rosemary C Hyde Ph D »

Relative to a previous thread about pertussin and the "100 day cough," US allopathic sources have finally admitted publicly that cases of pertussis are on the rise, among adult and also even vaccinated children. There was an article in the March 2 2004 New York Times by Jane Brody summarizing the information from the US Center for Disease Control.

My partner and I, reading the NY Times description of its manifestation in adults, realize this is probably what we've both had for the last month (two weeks really sick with it -- now just the "100 day cough" lingering on)). My partner had never had it and also had never been immunized. I had had it, really severely, much more so than my siblings, as a child of about 7. My case this time has been significantly more severe than hers as well.

I thought the article interesting, in the light of the pertussis discussion on this list a couple of weeks ago.

Dear Rosemary,
Two years ago, when I told my GP and another homeopath, that my son had the
whooping type of cough, they laughed.
That it is driven out of the earth. Only on Grace's posting ( thank you
Grace,so much for igniting a new spark that made me look at things very
differently) I saw what was complicating him with others. Immediately
studied up pertussin (tho not much mm was there.

But clarke gives this : Ulceration on the tongue also among others. Most of
the tubercular remedies create some mischief on the tongue. My son has a
longstanding mapped (or ulcerated tongue) coing and going.

Regards
Venkat
