Homoeopath in Kent, UK. Candida Case

Post by Elizabeth Burgess »

Hi all
I am looking for a recommendation for a homoeopath near Rochester in Kent for a long term case of (gut) candida, which became obvious when he gave up alcohol.
The patient is rigidly sticking to a strict diet and is seeing a nutritionist and taking antifungals Oregano and ciprilic acid(?)
He has suffered with this for at least three years and was very fatigued initially.
I would like to refer him to someone in the area, but the only name I recognise on the list is John Morgan in Tunbridge Wells.
He is definitely close enough and highly recommended, just wondered if anyone else has any contacts in the locality they can suggest.
I believe also that there were some old archives on Candida in this group, but I am not sure how to access them, can anyone direct me??
Grateful for any other advice or info I can pass onto him, he has done a lot of research himself. Suffers badly with the antifungals but can't resist pushing it in the hope things will improve. (Pushes himself constantly)
As the immune system is not coping would it be worthwhile taking echinacea?
He also suffers from a complaint where scar tiisue (?) forms between his tendon sheath and the tendon and he thinks they then become narrowed. Externally they look collapsed and are proud and hard. He has been told this is genetic and is associated with viking blood (!) He has also been told that they will gradually get worse and worse, can be operated on with slight temporary relief, but may eventually require amputation.
What cheery news, especially as he relies on his hands for his work - he also rock climbs regularly so they are under a lot of stress.
Any ideas what this is, I am curious?
Grateful for any replies on or off list
Cheers!
