LM Potencies

Where in the Organon does it say that you can start LMs with anything other
than LM01?

While reading as much info as possible on LM potencies, I have come across differing views as to the strength of them. I have read that the LM1 potency is a relatively high potency equivalent to a 200c but gentler; elsewhere I have read that the LM1 shares the qualities of 30c and 6c, working as gently as a 6c but with the depth of a 30c. I have also come across differing views of the LM's use for sensitive people, with some saying to start off with the low C's for sensitives and then move across to the LM1 and others saying the LM's are better than the C scale for sensitives.

If homeopaths on the list had time to share their experience with regards to the LM potency in comparison to the C scale and its use for sensitives, I would be grateful for the input.

I have run across the same thing regarding LM's and C's.
I wish there was a cut and dry answer.
I've seen LM's cause aggravations and bring about a cure in just 4
doses and at other times it just don't cut it and there's no
improvment at all.
That's one of the reasons I wrote to the list and wanted to know if
it was safe to go from a C to an LM - there are various opinions.

Well I just got an answer from David's post.
Solved allot of issues for me.
Comes down to each individual.
After having read that, I'm going to switch a man over from 12C's going
on 30C because the 12's aren't cutting it anymore to an LM.

But of course it is down to each individual - just as with sx
similarity for each individual case will bring you to the simillimum so
will parallel potency enhance the simillimum in doing the best possible
work towards cure - then you also have to get the dose correct as well.
LM's are just another choice of potency (there are so many) - you don't
even have to start with LM1, but always be guided by the case in front
of you just as you would for the rx.

I've gone between LMs and Cs fairly randomly, without any problem.
E.g. with myself, when I was supposed to be taking an LM but left on a
trip without it, so got 6c of same remedy--it worked fine, tho
different rhythm. I've had others do similar switches for similar
reasons (just a few people), and not seen any problem--it's just
another potency! (I don't make a *habit* of switching potencies
randomly, but...)

Sensitive patients? One of mine is in t hat category. She handles
both 6/12 and LMs okay *if* it's "the right remedy" and appropriate
repetition, but has aggravated on even a single dose of 6c (presumably
"not the right remedy"
