I'm wondering if anyone can suggest rubrics that might apply:
We have a dog who gets these odd bumps on her skin that sometimes resolve on
their own, and sometimes burst open and discharge a pus-like substance,
sometimes including a bit of blood. The vet says it is nothing serious,
just something that some dogs are prone to, and that ... I think she was
saying it's her sebaceous (oil-producing?) glands, or maybe the follicle,
I'm not sure, get blocked and then infected? It's not actually a problem,
except that it's really gross when one bursts. Does not seem like a boil;
more superficial than that, but larger than what I'd think of as a
"pustule"???
Other than that, I want to prescribe for her fearfulness, anxiety when
alone, terror from loud noises. But before pulling all that together, I did
want to look at whatever rubrics might apply to this skin thing.
Closest I see so far is: SKIN; ERUPTIONS; discharging, moist; pus:
cassi-s., clem., dulc., graph., hep., lyc., mez., nat-c., nat-m., nit-ac.,
psor., sec., sulph.
SKIN; ERUPTIONS; pustules; large: cimic., kali-br., tax.
(What is an "indolent pustule"? Are most of them pretty hard-working?)
Thanks for all thoughts!

Indolent can mean (1)causing little or no pain (2)slow growing
Tarentula comes to mind FWIW.

She's not resetless, just sort of chronically anxious.
