Dear Rosemary,
Who is Peter Chappell...a homoepath or a musician or both? The name does
not seem to belong to the subcontinent. Looks like an English
!! The
classical music of this area is not easy to learn and it demands many years
of practice to become fluent in the art. The ragas or RAAGS have sixteen
matras in total...perhaps you call it tones/tunes in English, whereas the
Western music has perhaps three or four only. The matras are as you follow
the tune in *TEE-TEE-TUM*...thing like that. Once I had a very peculiar
experiment with myself...I do not know if it would be believe-able or not,
but it happened with me. I have an artist friend who understands classical
very well. Once he asked me to keep my mind free and just follow the tune
where ever it takes me. I was wonder-struck at the outcome of the
experiment, because it was so real vision as if I am moving in a grassy
field, with yellow and sun-burnt grass with little patches of green grass
too here and there, The grass was not big just above the ground. Then I
felt myself as if I am moving in a huge fort and visiting its different
parts. Then the color of the sky showed a change from blue to somewhat
greenish-pink/red...strange color mixing it was. It was like MATRIX My
that friend wants me to work with him. His idea is that instead of
experimenting with the tunes for the illnesses (it would take generations
to reach at a correct conclusion and he is already 75) he wants to know the
times of aggravations and ameliorations, seasonal aggravations of the
remedies, nature of the remedies with the zodiac like fiery, earthy, airy
and watery, and reach at some conclusion with the help of these already
testified pieces of science and art. He thinks that doing so, he can decide
which raag follows which group of remedies. I do not remember but there was
a book about Biochemic remedies, giving the relationship of twelve
bio-salts with the twelve zodiacal signs. Some time back, I had inquired at
this list about astrological relationship of remedies and as a result of
that, registered in a site www.medicinegarden.com but this was not the
thing which he is looking for. Any help in this regard would be more than
welcome! Rosemary, do you know Mr.Chappell's e mail address, and if that
versatile soul is a worthy member on this site, would it be possible he
