post herpetic angina

Post by mahsa_ghn »

Hi friends,
I`m a new student to this field(homeopathy).I have a 70 year old
patient with a severe post herpetic pain. She cought trigeminal
zoster about 10 months ago which involved the ophthalmic division of
the nerve. After consuming the routine drugs she is still very deeply
involved with the pain of the same area on the face which is even
sensitive to touch .She has become depressed too.As she is an IHD
case with many courses of accelerated hypertention attacks and she
takes a collection of different drugs,I would like to know if it is
possible to help her in a way with the use of homeopathic remedies.
Wish you luck.

It is indeed possible to help people suffering from trigeminal neuralgia
with homeopathy. The choice of remedies depends largely upon the nature of
the pain, its location, and the modalities. It's really important here to
dose adequately, and Dr. A. U. Ramakrishnan recommends dissolving three
pellets of the indicated remedy in a cup of water, to be sipped every 2
minutes for a total of ten doses. Supportive treatment can include
B-complex vitamins, primarily given by intramuscular injection and a
whole-foods diet. Acupuncture can also be helpful, especially for
post-herpetic neuralgia.

Hope this helps.

Peace,
Cinnabar
