time to take the remedies

Post by Maria Bohle »

Hi Joy and Steve,
I thought that we were to avoid the remedies at the period of
aggravation.

I usually suggest that my clients take their first dose (esp with LMs) in
the afternoon, as there are two reactions that might be important to know
about, either it puts them to sleep (so I hate to give a remedy in the
office as they have to travel home) or it wakes them up, and thus they
may not sleep. So I suggest the first dose in late afternoon, and they
can judge from there and their reactions when they prefer to take the
dose.

Warmly, Maria

I like your suggestions Maria!

Another way to look at times for taking remedies is to look at the
connection of the particular remedy with the organs/systems they are
addressing and the time of day or night the particular organ or system is in
peak activity. There was a thread on this list about organ peak times but I
cannot remember how long ago that was. There was a website suggested:
www.eatsolar.com which has a chart of organs and lists their peak times.

That is the Chinese time of higher energy in the meridians.

Hi all...

Below is a file that I saved. I have followed this chart...at times. I've
got to ask tho...if a remedy is the right one...and the potency is
correct...and the "correct energy" is given with the dose...why would it NOT
work, no matter what time it's given?

I don't think the remedy would NOT work if not given at the "appropriate"
time. I think it is just a case of optimum match. If the organ the remedy
is addressing is at its peak during the time the remedy is administered, the
idea is the remedy would be better utilised.

TMING IS NOT JUST ORGAN. There are many factors involved here and I wish some physicist to research the issue. Circadian rhythms, internal bioclock, activity (motion, rest), biorhythms, seasons, weathers, solar/lunar cycles, internal hormones such as mensturations, etc. etc. Now we have to see what remedy we are picking up. Polychrest such as Aconite or Belladonna (Sulphur and Arsenic are not polychrests as many people believe) or we have a remedy that affects at the cellular level such as Arsenic or Silicea or organ level such as Chelidonium or Crateagus, or muscular level such as Rhododendron, and Rhus T etc. Once we quantify these levels (more exist at quantum levels such as Lachesis) then we would like to see how the remedy is supposed to act. If it is organ-based remedy then is that organ is in inflammatory stage or sluggish phase. Let's talk about liver which has low peak at 10-12 am (not chinese stuff) and people who suffer from sugar metabolism are low /high in energy at
this time. Or around mid-night arterial function is at its low ebb and Arsenic is one for that reason or lung function is low around 2-3 and people have asthma attack or even simple sleeplessness and we do have Kali Carb or around 4-5 am when transition takes place between renal and bladder and we have relevant remedies. Just organ. And we can extrpolate these things. Now the question is should we give remedy or not at this moment. It depends your objectives. Similarly, we need for others stuff. Since I am NOT satisfied with present drug potentization system and their prescription manner I will not elaborate more on this topic. One things the humenity will appreciate the elaborate experiments homeoapths did in proving but unfortunately everything got screwed up by people like Kent. The only heros in homeopathy so far are two persons, Hahnemann and Hering and if we stick with their philosophy we can make a turn around in homeopathy otherwise there will always be Randi out there with
million dollar and we will keep brain masturbation.
