Kidney Stones

Post by Frances Camperlino »

Hello everyone,
I remember a while ago there was a discussion on kidney stones. In an emergency acute situation, wasn't there a remedy that was able to help break them up so they could pass? I will be treating this person constitionally, but not for a few weeks. Is there anything I can do to help her now?
I am learning so much and enjoying all the different thoughts and opinions posted here!
Thank you for your help,
Fran

You could try calcarea renalis.

Hi Fran,

Atiq had sent this suggestion:
To physically break the kidney stones if you use the remedy Hydrangia Arbor
in 30c bd you will find it works miracles.

Julian offered this:
Depends on many things-- mostly modalities (which side, what makes it
better or worse, extension of pain, etc.)
Offhand, the remedy that seems the "quickie" is BERBERIS VULGARIS.
Question... how big is it? Will it move?
I've treated three Kidney stones with Berberis and they have moved.
Another offhand rx that was suggested is Belladonna because of the
the affinity of it to the kind of tissues from which the ureters are
made.

Hope this helps,
Shannon
